NATIONAL SEMININAR AT GDC, RAMPACHODAVARAM Overview: The one-day national seminar on "History of Indian Administration (Ancient, Medieval, and Modern)" was successfully conducted on 13th March 2025 at Government Degree College, Rampachodavaram. The event was organized by the Department of History & Political Science and aimed at providing a platform for scholars, faculty, and students to discuss the evolution and contemporary relevance of Indian administration • Purpose of the Field Trip : To encourage the students to write the research papers and presenting in the National seminar • To encourage the students to participate the paper presentation after gaining thoroughly knowledge and experience Key Officials and Speakers: • Seminar Director: Dr. K. Vasudha (Principal) • Convenor: J.S. Suneetha Kumari (Lecturer in History) • Organising Secretary: S.R.B. Chakravarthy (Lecturer in English) • Keynote Speaker: Prof. B. Syam Mohan David Raju (SV University, Tirupati) • Resource Persons: o Dr. Ch. Madhusudhan Rao (Andhra University) o Dr. H.K. Sulaiman Khan (Tamil Nadu) o Dr. Sudarshan Rao Ithadi (Symbiosis Law School, Hyderabad) o Dr. N.J. Padmakara Babu (Retd. Professor in Political Science, A.P.) o Dr. V. Ramesh Babu (Associate Professor in Political Science) Participation from Government College (A), Rajamahendravaram: The Government College (A), Rajamahendravaram, received an invitation for the seminar. The Head of the Department of History & Tourism (HOD) Dr B.Anjani Kumari circulated the invitation dated on 8th march encouraging faculty and students to participate. Preparation and Participation: • Faculty members from different social science disciplines, including guest lecturers, prepared students for active participation in the seminar. • Research papers were prepared on topics related to History, Public Administration, and Contemporary trends in AI. • Some students also designed posters and contributed presentations at the seminar. • On 13th March 2025, a team of 35 students and 2 faculty members travelled to Rampachodavaram by college bus. Seminar Proceedings: The seminar was conducted smoothly, featuring insightful discussions by key speakers. Faculty members and students actively engaged in presentations and discussions on various historical and administrative aspects of governance in India.

It was a great platform to gain exposure to academic presentations and interact with peers from different colleges. I learned a lot from the panel discussions. 2. Presenting my paper gave me immense confidence. I also received valuable feedback from senior faculty members . 3. The seminar sessions were informative and helped me understand the current trends in our field. It motivated me to pursue further research.
