As per the directives of the Government of Andhra Pradesh, every Saturday, under the leadership of Dr. Ramachandra RK, Principal of Government Autonomous College, Rajahmundry, the *Swarna Andhra – Swachh Andhra* program is being organized with great enthusiasm on every third Saturday of the month. As a part of this initiative, today a rally was conducted based on the theme " Neeru – Meeru", starting from Lalacheruvu to Government Autonomous College, Rajahmundry. The rally was led successfully by students and faculty, who actively participated with impactful slogans. Following the rally, Principal Dr. Ramachandra RK addressed the students, faculty, and non-teaching staff at the METCAF hostel, elaborating on the importance and necessity of water conservation. Students showcased posters they had drawn and created, which were also displayed as part of the program. Later, a plantation drive was conducted in the Miyawaki forest area. Under the guidance of Smt. Vijayashanthi and Durga Lakshmi, the *Swarna Andhra Swachh Andhra Pledge* was administered to the students. The entire program was effectively coordinated by SASA Coordinator Mr. G. Raviteja and the committee members. The event saw the participation of Smt. Subhashini Devi, Lieutenant Isub Basha, Dr. Mallikarjuna, Mr. Muralikrishna, Dr. Bhavani, Dr. Anusha, Mrs. Durga Lakshmi, heads of departments, NCC, NSS, YRC student volunteers, faculty, and non-teaching staff.
