Satyanarayana has introduced to the audience the biography of PantuluGurajada Apparao Jayanthi is the birth anniversary of the prominent Telugu playwright, dramatist, poet, and writer, Gurajada Venkata Apparao, who was born on September 21, 1862. It is celebrated annually on September 21st to commemorate his contributions to Telugu literature and society. Gurajada Apparao is a celebrated figure in Telugu literature, known for his play "Kanyasulkam" (The Bride's Price), which is considered one of the greatest Telugu plays and a critique of societal ills. He is also known for his work in developing a new style of poetry in Telugu literature and for his patriotic song "Desamunu Preminchumanna" (Love your Nation). Gurajada Apparao's Jayanthi is a day to remember his legacy as a social reformer, liberal thinker, and pathfinder of modernism in Telugu literature.
