• The Women Empowerment Cell (WEC) organized a grand celebration on the occasion of International Women’s Day with great enthusiasm and fervour.The Chairman of the Program Dr.Ramachandra RK Addressed the program and delivered keypoints on the occasion. The event was graced by esteemed guests, including a Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) B.Vidya , a Doctor B.Spandana, and a Judge N.Srilaxmi DLSA, who shared their valuable insights on women's empowerment and their pivotal role in society. The program commenced with a warm welcome to the dignitaries, followed by inspiring speeches. The DSP emphasized the importance of women’s safety, self-defense, and legal rights, encouraging women to be aware and assertive in society. The Doctor spoke about women’s health and well-being, stressing the need for self-care and regular health check-ups. The Judge highlighted the significance of legal awareness and gender equality, urging women to fight against discrimination and injustice. As part of the celebrations, faculty members were honored with the "Mahila Shiromani Puraskar" for their remarkable contributions to education and women's empowerment. Additionally, meritorious girl students were recognized with Student Excellence Awards for their outstanding academic and extracurricular achievements. To mark the occasion, Gifts and snacks were distributed to all attendees, making the event a memorable one filled with joy and appreciation. The program concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the guests, organizers, and participants for making the celebration a grand success.
